This report analyses Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) financial flows for the period 2023–2027, based on data extracted from the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) database. The initial dataset was downloaded from the IATI database on 22 July 2025, and includes transactions starting from calendar year 2023 onward. To distinguish between the types of fifinancial flows, IATI transaction type codes were applied with commitments being identified by type code "2" and disbursements being identified by type codes "3", "4", "7", and "8". 

Implementation partner data was extracted from the IADB's official data portal which provides detailed contract award information including individual contract values and contractor details for 2023. Contractors were categorized by headquarters location as (1) Local: Contractors based in the same country as the project location, (2) Regional (LAC): Contractors based in other LAC countries, and (3) International: Contractors based outside the LAC region. 

All data analyzed in this report reflects information as published by the IADB and partner organizations in the respective registries and databases as of the extraction dates [AP1] specified above.
